First the surprisingly recent invention of the novel, Mary Shelley creating the genre of science fiction and Charlotte Brontë  devising the first person narrative! They discuss some of their favorite novels, and break down the revolutionary writing forms you couldn't even imagine never existing, and then the women that first conceived them! And finally, they discuss one of the greatest poets of all time, Emily Dickinson. They cover her life, her work, her secrets, and finally, Where It Went Wrong (hint: it involves the patriarchy)!
